This Model 50 belongs to Harry Machado. Harry uses his 50 with a "belly mower" for weed control.
The 50 was the successor to the Model B. It was produced from 1952 to 1956. The 50 and the 60 were the first tractors to have duplex carburation, live PTO, and live hydraulic. You can tell them apart from the Model A and Model B because they have the vertical grill instead of the horizontal louvers.
Both the 50 and the 60 were available with an LP gas engine as well as the gasoline and "all fuel" versions. How do you tell a 50 from a 60? Turn the page and look HERE.
The front pedestal on the Model 50 is "convertable", meaning that the same 50 and 50LP were available in different front wheel configurations (shown below), like the Model B, but the 50 was never available as a "Standard" tractor.
