Hi Kevin, I don't think that the gas is getting into the crankcase while the engine is RUNNING. If the float is "sinking" and the tractor still runs, it would be running very rich. You would get black smoke out the exhaust, the engine would run rough, and you might even smell gas, but it would still go UP, out the exhaust stack. If the float is bad, or the float valve is bad, your gas is getting into the crankcase while the engine is NOT running. Take a look HERE. ~Meli~ |
