"Goodnight Sweetheart"
It's getting late and it's time to go to sleep. All I need is someone to come over and tuck me in. "Goodnight Sweetheart" is very often played by DJ's as the "last dance" or "goodnight" song. It is a "Doo Wop" song that was recorded by the Spaniels in 1955. It was never on the charts in "Billboard" magazine, and no one ELSE ever had a hit record with it, either. But, it is best remembered as the theme song from the TV show "Sha Na Na". Can't you just picture "Bowser" singing the bass line?
