Davenport Tractor's New Store

Pay Attention!!! Hi, I'm Meli and I've got some exciting news! Davenport Tractor opened a retail store in Davenport, Iowa on March 16th, 2010. The new signs weren't even up yet when this picture of the building was taken.
    The new store is located right next to the Davenport River Center where the Gathering of the Green was held. It is located just a half a city block to the east of the River Center. The folks who went to the 2010 Gathering and stayed at the host hotel ( Radisson Davenport) could see the store from the front of the hotel.

     "Our new store features a walk in location for customers to pick up their items free of shipping expense, in addition all of the products we sell are available in the 3000 square foot show room.The show room features interactive computer stations (kiosks) to allow customers to learn about tractor parts and memorabilia. We also sell never before seen John Deere Trade cards, pocket ledgers, and collectible items from the 1800's through the 150th anniversary items. This store rivals the closed John Deere Collectors Center.
     Davenport Tractor hosted a grand opening and open house on March 16th and 17th, 2010 for those folks who just couldn't get enough of the Gathering of the Green show, or just wanted to come early to visit and set up their show space. Our open house was open the public and featured free food and beverages all day long both days, and include a tour of our 9000 square foot facility where everyone saw our CNC automated Mazak turning out a set of free rivet set tools. Doors opened at 8:00 am on the 16th of March, many of the heavy hitters in the John Deere collectibles market were on hand to evaluate collectible John Deere Items.
     .One of the best local microbreweries (Great River Brewing Company) provided a free beer tasting in the afternoon hours.".
