Why are there TWO throttle levers?

Hi Jason, The "extra lever" (Part no. 1) is there to operate the shutters in front of the radiator. Look inside the grill, there should be vertical louvers in there. If they are stuck, it is possible that the linkage to them is broken, or GONE. It is also quite possible that someone has removed the entire shutter assembly. |

| On the early styled Model B the shutters are the same, but the linkage is controlled by a knob on the dashboard instead of a lever. See part number 1 in the above illustration. |
